IYIP Program Manager and Fundraising Coordinator

As Haven's Fundraising Coordinator and Illinois Youth Investment Program Manager, Kate consistently works towards creating opportunities where youth, especially LGBTQ+ and at risk youth, feel seen and heard.

Te'Ericka Kimbrough

Outreach Coordinator and

IYIP Case Manager

Te’Ericka received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Chicago State University. Her clinical interests include the use of person-centered, strength-based intervention techniques to provide support to youth and their families that are experiencing hardships and adverse traumas. Te’Ericka uses active listening and empathy to build meaningful relationships with clients and assist them in addressing challenges and achieving goals. Additionally, Te’Ericka previously supervised an emergency Domestic Violence Shelter in the heart of Chicago, working with women and children exposed to complex, intentional trauma. She is a certified sexual assault and domestic violence crisis interventionist.

Te’Ericka advocates for raising awareness about gender-based violence and human capital inequalities. She believes that all people are resilient, and have the internal ability change their life trajectory by maintaining power and control over their life narrative through both individual and collaborative efforts.
